Some time back I had the privilege of working with TowBoat US on a photo shoot for the Bay & Delta Yachtsman Magazine. This was a challenging shoot for a variety of reasons.
First, because of the small flat surface area on the boat, I had to hand-catch the drone for landing. This was extremely challenging, as near the Golden Gate Bridge we had 20 MPH winds and 10-foot swells. To catch the drone, I had to lean out and have a crew member hold me so I could reach out far enough to clear the boat completely.

Second, it's difficult to capture camera angles when you are in a moving boat, flying a drone moving another direction, trying to capture more boats moving in yet another direction. Lighting was also an issue due to the time of day.

In the end, the client got some great coverage in a local magazine read by thousands of potential customers. And a good time was had by all!
